Hi, I’m Ashley, the artist behind Gather & Flow. I’ve been making jewelry since 2007, blending my love of drawing and metalwork to create pieces inspired by nature. Gather & Flow lets me share my passion for craftsmanship and connect with others who love the outdoors.

My jewelry is a wearable reminder of what makes you feel alive.

BEHIND THE ART

Every piece begins as a design I create by hand in my Richmond, Virginia studio. I work with ethically sourced or recycled metals, cutting, texturing, and layering each element to bring the design to life.

Many of the made to order designs are cast in recycled sterling silver from my original handcrafted pieces. These castings become the foundation of the piece, with more parts soldered on, and each piece individually retextured and finished - maintaining the personal craftsmanship and attention to detail. This process maximizes the amount of recycled metal in my work, reduces scrap waste, and allows more people to enjoy these designs while keeping the heart of the piece completely handmade.

Whether a one-of-a-kind, stone-centered design or a hand-finished cast piece, every creation reflects my love of nature, texture, and meaningful storytelling.

ELEMENTS GATHERED FROM NATURE THAT FLOW THROUGH JEWELRY

Gather & Flow is all about collecting the little things that inspire us—textures, patterns, memories, and moments, and letting them flow together into a piece of jewelry. I often layer hand sawn sheets of silver to create tiny scenes, combining these elements into designs that act as a window into nature. Each piece carries a sense of connection and meaning, letting the beauty of the outdoors, and your own memories, flow with you wherever you go.
